NYers Using Craigslist To Obtain Housing, Sex

New York Daily News

In light of the recent probe by City Councilman Eric Gioia, the Daily News found a number of thinly veiled prostitution pitches among the apartment rentals on the online classifieds Web site Craigslist.org

One "deal" which was highlighted was for a $39
room rental in a "modern pad" in the Financial District.  The renter’s full ad stated that he is looking for a "sexy
open-minded, cool girl" to share a stocked bar, new gym, rooftop deck
and more with a single male looking for a "benefits situation".  That $39 turns out to be just for the night.
