According to Nielson, New York City is one of the best prepared cities for the TV digital switch, which happens on February 17th, 2009. Just 3.22 percent of homes are not yet prepared to receive the digital signal.
There have been several tests during which the analogue signal is turned off. Another local test is scheduled for December 11th at 12PM and a national test on December 17th at 7:30PM.
