Media consultant and CUNY Graduate School of Journalism professor Jeff Jarvis' book What Would Google Do? will also be published as a video book. The 23-minute video edition, which features Jarvis speaking directly to the camera against different backdrops, will go on sale on Amazon.com today for viewing on personal computers. An iPod and iPhone version is in the works. In the book, Jarvis discusses how businesses can adopt Google corporate practices to improve their operations.
He'll be speaking about the book at tonight's NY Tech Meetup and also at the headquarters in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood of the online news startup Daylife in which he is an investor this Thursday evening.
