The TV/film production industry, which has recently received attention as being one of the thriving sector's in the City's economy, might soon see a slowdown due to an end to New York State tax incentives, which were introduced in 2004.
The $685 million budget, which was projected to last until 2013, was depleted on February 1st. Additional funds could be added to the new budget, which is being hashed out between now and April.
