Cablevision Ads Mislead with False Claims

Tristate area cable and high speed Internet provider Cablevision is being cautioned by the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus to take out claims of its Internet service being faster than its competitors in its ads. Recently, Cablevision had proactively changed similar claims, which includes superior HD picture quality, in its commercials.

CSC Holdings, Cablevision's parent company, has promised to consider the request.
