iKidNY, designed by Lara Paul, was created to provide New York parents, providing them with information about "public changing tables, subway stations with elevators (making them
baby carriage-friendly), restaurants, indoor play spaces and hundreds
of other useful places around town."
Hired scouts gathered the data and Paul herself reviewed information online about "kid-friendly" places. The app itself was built by a programmer and she tells The Post that it cost about $7,000 to develop.
