Nassau Police Arrest Music Exec For Not Tweeting

When thousands of teenage girls turned up to meet Canadian "teen sensation" Justin Bieber at the Roosevelt Field in Garden City, NY, but he didn't, Nassau County police became concerned that the crowd might become unruly, according to Newsday.

They asked James A. Roppo of Bieber's record label Island Def Jam Records, to solve this "difficult situation" by tweeting.  He allegedly didn't comply and was arrested, pending charges that might, according to the police, comprise
criminal nuisance, endangering the welfare of a minor, and obstructing
government administration.

However, someone pleaded with fans from Bieber's Twitter account around the time of the arrest, asking them to disperse.  Later tweets from the account indicate that Bieber was "upset" because of the lack of "proper security."
