As Etsy, the Brooklyn-based crafts Web site, grows in popularity, some hobbyists are quitting their jobs to use the site for full time e-tail operations for their creations. According to The New York Times, some of the more successful hobbyists are making six-figure incomes using the site, much like eBay has enabled individual sellers to open online stores.
