Open-source textbook firm Flat World Knowledge, based in Nyack, NY, has raised an additional $2.5 million in funding. In a separate release received by paidContent, the company says it has signed a deal to supply some of its digital textbooks to Bookshare, which has an online library for people with disabilities that affect reading.
