Next Jump, The Next Big Thing in E-Commerce?

Next Jump, a start-up company based in New York, could become the next big thing in e-commerce, according to a recent profile in The New York Times.   Next Jump, which specializes in online employee discount and rewards programs, has been developing  various partnerships which have resulted in more than 100 million Americans who can access the company's e-commerce marketplace.

From this interaction, the company has assembled large amounts of data (including credit-card transaction data), which enables them to microtarget/analyze purchasing habits so that they can custom  tailor offers to their customers.
