Nokia Pulls Plug on NY Flagship Store

Nokia StoreMobile handset maker Nokia, suffering sharply in the economic downturn and losing out in the battle for consumers to Apple's iPhone according to Reuters, has decided to close its flagship store (pictured) in Manhattan's Midtown neighborhood. 

Nokia said that it was closing the store as "part of a retail strategy revamp to better focus on cooperation with telecom operators and retailers."
