Pegshot, based in Boulder Co and NYC, says that Version 2.2 of its mobile app that lets users quickly publish videos and photos of what’s happening where they are, has been released and can be downloaded from the iTunes store. The new version includes quick entry via Facebook Connect, some new gaming elements, and the option to view and share location specific videos and photos in real-time, the company said.
The Pegshot app lets users share geo-tagged videos and photos from wherever they are. Users' shots are posted to their "Shot Feed" on Pegshot and can also be published to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr and Posterous. Users can tag shots to specific locations by choosing from a shortlist of local businesses/venues, events or outdoor places.
