Cablevision “Disappointed” if FCC Regulates Broadband

Cablevision COO Tom Rutledge said the Bethpage, NY-based cable company would be "disappointed" if the FCC moves to regulate broadband lines under rules designed for traditional phone networks.  He made  the comments to an analyst during the company's Q1 earnings release call. S

peaking about the National Broadband Plan, Rutledge said he sympathized with the goal of promoting innovation and access to the Internet, but didn't think using rules drawn up in the 20th century would be a good decision.
