Yesterday at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference taking place this week in NYC, former Fortune magazine tech editor David Kirkpatrick talked about the launch of his new business Techonomy. Founded with former Fortune editors Peter Petre, and Brent Schlender, Techonomy is a new media business that is launching later in the year, focusing on technology and technological change. The company, however, will soon be hosting its first conference August in Lake Tahoe that will include people such as Bill Gates and Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
Kirkpatrick is speaking on a panel at #TCDisrupt this afternoon at 3 p.m. to talk about his book, The Facebook Effect.
