Internet Week NY: You’ve Come a Long Way Baby

In an overview of Internet Week's festivities in NYC, The Social examines what is making this year's event a little bit more significant than its previous incarnations.  According to the article, besides actually having its own headquarters now, this year's Internet Week already seems more optimistic than last year's, with many events taking place as an excuse to celebrate NYC's startup centric tech culture.

The events for this week are also reflective of how far the NYC tech scene has come, as many companies are using the week long occasion to court the "digital innovation" crowd, as brands such as Pepsi and Ford are sponsoring events this year.

Photos from yesterday's press conference kicking off Internet Week can be found here.
