Acquisition of Digitaria Gives JWT an Avenue for Expansion in NY

JWT North America has announced its acquisition of Digitaria, a San Diego-based digital agency with offices in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles. Operating as a unit of JWT, the 100-person shop will keep its California headquarters while expanding its presence in New York. Dan Khabie, Digitaria's current CEO, will remain in that role, reporting to JWT North America CEO and Worldwide Digital Director David Eastman.

This move positions JWT more squarely in the digital space, where Digitaria has attracted such clients as the National Football League, U.S. Soccer, NBC, ESPN and Qualcomm
