NYC-based CBS Sports struck a sponsorship deal with Panasonic to produce 3D coverage of the U.S. Open tennis championships to be held Aug. 30-Sept. 12 in Flushing. The tennis matches will be broadcast on DirectTV's "n3D" channel.
Games covered will take place the weekends of Sept. 4-6 and Sept. 11-12. The coverage will be aimed at Center Court and will use PACE 3D cameras.
