Mashable, in conjunction with the United Nations Foundation and the 92nd Street Y Social Good Summit, is providing a mechanism, during U.N .Week Sept 21-24, for online voices and bloggers to operate and interact with experts on issues like poverty, hunger, HIV/AIDs, women's health and climate change.
Confirmed for briefings at the Digital Media Lounge are Samuel Kargbo, Department of Health, Sierra Leone; Martha Kwataine, Executive Director, Malawi Health Equity Network; and Steve Cockburn of EndWater Poverty. Additional government officials and celebrity advocates will be on hand. Bloggers will need to submit an application for accreditation here.
