AT&T Announces 3G Improvements in NYC

While Sprint and Clearwire were launching their new 4G wireless offerings to New Yorkers today, AT&T announced that they have upgraded  3G cell sites in Queens and Brooklyn to provide improved service to the areas of Prospect Park, Coney Island and the train stations in Woodside and Jamaica. The upgrade also includes service affecting the Triborough Bridge, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and the Queens Midtown and Brooklyn Battery Tunnels.
