Pontiflex Driving NextGen Web Ads

New York based Pontiflex, an applied technology advertising startup, has seen some serious growth. The company, launched in 2007, now has 45 employees and expects to see $15 million in revenue this year by connecting consumers with brands they are interested in.

The technology has consumers click on a box to sign up for ads and offers but, instead of navigating away from the site, sends the data to advertisers, who pay for sign ups, not page views. Over the past 18 months, Pontiflex has signed deals with some major players including Kimberly-Clark, Dell and Unicef. According to Chief Executive Zephrin Lasker, Pontiflex is riding the wave of the user economy i.e. social media.
