Congregation Beth Elohim’s in Park Slope, Brooklyn recently used a $5,000 grant from the Union of Reform Judaism (one of 5 synagogues awarded the grant in the NYC area) to harness technology to reach people who do and can not go to their syngogue. To reach these people, the shul is now posting videos, live streaming events and setting up virtual classes online.
According to The Jewuish Week, the synagogue hopes to live stream its High Holy Days services this year and to start sharing online videos of services, seminars and classes in the coming months.
