Super Bowl: Packers’ Web Chatter Up in January; May Predict Win

According to data collected by social media analysis company Infegy, the Super Bowl team discussed most during January was the Green Bay Packers. Mashable says this should be good news for Green Bay. Since 2008, each team with the most chatter won the Vince Lombardi trophy.

There is some hope for the Steelers though, the Mashable article says. Infegy says that the gap between online discussions of the Packers and the Steelers is smaller than any two Super Bowl teams the company has analyzed. The Packers, however are beating the Steelers in the sentiment department, with conversations around the Packers 78% positive in January compared to only 69% positive for the Steelers.
