Music Discovery Service Exfm Raises $750,000

NY-based Exfm, a musical discovery service add-on for Google Chrome, raised $750,000 in seed funding, according to TechCrunch.  Exfm alerts users when a website contains an embedded or linked MP3 file and then saves the music in a playlist for later access.  The company plans to use the funding to hire more staff and expand its application to mobile devices on the iOS and Android systems.
