It was reported this week that NY based News Corp, in attempt to reposition its social network Myspace as a hub for music, has reached out to online music video network Vevo about a possible deal. News Corp has been attempting to offload Myspace, speaking with gaming and social networking sites and has explored combining Myspace with another site in exchange for cash and equity.
