Microsoft Drops Ad Agency JWT From Bing, Office

JWT, a worldwide advertising agency headquartered in NY, has recently lost much of its business with Microsoft.  JWT was responsible for launching the company’s search engine Bing in 2009 and for growing its market share to 30 percent.  Despite their successes, Microsoft also hired Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Droga5 to generate advertising content for the search engine.

JWT also lost the Microsoft Office account and now is only working on fostering the Windows 7 brand in China and Brazil.  Microsoft has hired advertising agency Deutsch Inc. to manage the Office brand.
