The fourth-annual Internet Week NY kicked off this morning, set to feature 200 events. Chairman David-Michel Davies gave a preview of several events to check out in a recent interview with Xconomy. Among his suggestions is the “Webutante Ball,” a party poking fun at how the Internet is like high school. The festival will also include multiple classroom seminars, including “Sex, Hair & Chicken: What Busy Women Want Online.”
This year’s Internet Week will also feature Walkabout NYC, a city-wide startup open house and a startup kickball tournament.
