In recent report release by Nielsen, the New York Jets held a 11.9% share of all NFL related social-media activity, the best out of all NFL teams. The New York Giants came in second at a 6.0% share.
Nielsen reports that one in four Web users in the U.S. visits sports sites, adding up to 42.5 million Americans. The NFL’s websites more than doubled (260%) their audience during the first week after the NFL lockout ended in late July, compared to off-season weeks.
