A new social media app has hit home with the protestors at Occupy Wall Street demonstrations in Lower Manhattan. Created by Hazem Sayed, Vibe is an anonymous, location-based, and temporal Twitter-esque messaging system. The app has proven to be helpful at the protest as users can choose how long, anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 days, and the distance, 160 feet to worldwide, they want their message to appear, which can be helpful for protesters who are concerned about the police monitoring their tweets.
