AT&T Continues Free Wi-Fi Rollout to NY Parks

As part of its ongoing roll out to parks across NY, AT&T has announced they will be offering free Wi-Fi in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Picnic House, Pier 1 at Brooklyn Bridge Park, and Marcus Garvey Park in Manhattan. The service is part of the five year digital initiative, headed by Mayor Bloomberg and the City of NY, that will provide free Wi-Fi at 26 locations in 20 NY parks.

According to information received by NY Convergence, across the five boroughs, AT&T has provided free Wi-Fi to:

  • Herbert Von King Park and McCarren Park Field House in Brooklyn
  • Astoria Park in Queens
  • Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan
  • Clove Lakes Park in Staten Island
  • Battery Park (Battery Bosque and Ferry Landing)
  • Rumsey Playfield
  • Areas of Thomas Jefferson Park in East Harlem
  • Joyce Kilmer Park in the Bronx
