The New York City Economic Development Corporation has announced its first ever Entrepreneur in Residence, Steven Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum is the founder and CEO of Magnify.net and creator of the September 11th memorial app. Also on Rosenbaum’s resume is the NY Video Meetup, a popular event which he runs, focusing on new NY-based Web video startups.
As an EIR, Rosenbaum will spend time at the various incubators in NY, offering advice to young entrepreneurs. He will act as a middle man between entrepreneurs and the NYEDC to focus on issues such as patent reform, immigration and censorship.
