With New Year’s Eve fast approaching, The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment are now offering free HD satellite feeds to domestic and international television outlets of the New Year’s Eve Celebration in Times Square. According to an announcement on NYC.gov, the feeds are also available to mobile phone TV providers, IPTV, vlogs and user generated content sites.
As they did for last year’s event, the Alliance and Countdown Entertainment have partnered with Livestream to offer an international, six and a half hour webcast of the event. Also, a free, non-commercial widget will be offered to bloggers, webmasters and digital media outlets to embed in their own sites.
