Google recently announced that it has partnered with IncubateNYC for its latest campaign to create an incubator in Harlem. According to Xconomy, “The group is competing to be chosen by the New York City Economic Development Corporation to fulfill a request for proposals for a new incubator to be established near 125th Street.”

Headed by Marcos Mayo, the group will continue with their plans no matter which proposal is chosen by the Bloomberg Administration because of their partnerships with Google and the Abyssinian Development Corp. The RFP’s are due December 29th and the group hopes to make Harlem then next tech hub for NY.
