Apple has scheduled a special event tomorrow at the Guggenheim Museum. According to Fortune, the blackboard-like invitations reading “Join us for an education announcement in the Big Apple,” suggest that the event could be related to one of the Steve Jobs’ last three projects: iPhone photography, integrated television and textbooks.
Fortune suggests that textbooks commissioned by Apple—which could be offered free or below-cost to schools—could side step the conservative committees in states like Texas that have a majority control in textbook content.
