During NY Fashion Week, which starts this Thursday, taxi passengers will be able buy beauty products with a swipe of their smartphone.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the new technology will be test driven in 50 cabs. Riders who want to make a purchase have to download a free app and hold their phone over tags.
Passengers get a free ride if they participate in the experiment.
