NY residents last month took advantage of a workshop called Closing the Technology Gap, organized in part by the Community Service Society of New York. During the workshop, which took place at a computer lab at Baruch College in Manhattan, volunteers, mostly high school students, helped people get online.
For example, Mohamed Sall, a junior from Baruch College Campus High School, taught Jeanne Pearson-Gray, 65, how to use Facebook.
