#ValentinesDay E-Commerce Sites for Gift Giving

In an effort to save men everywhere a from an embarrassing Valentine’s Day gift exchange, The Huffington Post offers a handy holiday gift-giving guide. It lists standard e-commerce sites to visit, like Amazon, FTD, Red Envelope, Etsy and Gilt, but also sites that take the significant other’s personality–and even personal information—into the romantic equation. Some of the recommendations include:

TheIceBreak.com, which offers “Date in a Box.” Just like ordering fruit from Harry & David, each month you receive a box filled with items for a fun date. The Valentine’s Day box includes a recipe for a dinner for two, a romantic movie and some other, undisclosed items.

Gift Side Story requires filling out a questionnaire about your intended’s personality and tastes. Kind of like a Cosmo quiz, it tabulates the answers and gives recommendations on what to buy.

Thoughtfulguy.com employs a similar questionnaire. It even allows the women to take the initiative and fill out all the questions for that thoughtful guy.
