NY’s Top Public Wi-Fi Signals in Libraries, Coffee Shops and Parks

According to a map of the city’s Wi-Fi hotspots, NYers can drink coffee and get super-fast signal strength at Kaffe 1668 on Greenwich St.– faster than any other caffeine consumption location. The infographic map, posted on New York City Economic Development Corporation’s Tumblr page, reveals the locations of Manhattan’s top Wi-Fi signal strengths.

Unsurprisingly, the highest Wi-Fi signals predominate in midtown and the financial district. The infographic’s only drawback is that it’s not interactive, so users can’t determine the exact location of the signal strengths. But NYCEDC thoughtfully listed the top venues — including quiet places (branches of the New York Public Library) food (including Gregory’s Coffee and the Soy Luck Club) and outdoor spaces (Pier 17, Bowling Green and Bryant Park.)
