Cablevision Releases Hotspot-Finder App Ad Campaign

Cablevision has released a new animated campaign ad to promote their new app for Apple mobile devices, which lets customers find the nearest Optimum Wi-Fi hotspot. The ad features HotSpot the Dog, who teaches his owner the benefits of the wireless service. According to Multichannel News, Cablevision’s renewed Wi-Fi marketing push comes after the CableWiFi initiative last month, where Cablevision teamed with Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Bright House Networks to allow each others high-speed Internet customers access their respective Wi-Fi networks – granting users access to more than 50,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the U.S.

The new app is available as a free download in the Apple iTunes App store for all iOS devices.
