NY startup Codecademy raised a second venture round of $10 million from top investors Kleiner Perkins, Index Ventures, Union Square Ventures, and Yuri Milner, as well as entrepreneur Richard Branson. The company aims to teach anyone interested how to code, since millions now find it useful for starting tech companies or in their other jobs.
According to TechCrunch, Codecademy plans to use some of the new funding to take the site global, with versions coming in Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and German.
