Last week F.ounders, a popular, up-and-coming tech conference circuit made its debut in NY To honor the occasion, organizer Paddy Cosgrave was invited to ring NASDAQ’s closing bell. F.ounders brings together entrepreneurs from around the world to attend dinners, panels, and parties. Paddy told CNN Money he started F.ounders to fill the gap in the packed conference field: there were no small, intimate gatherings for entrepreneurs. These smaller conferences are now becoming a common occurrence and new trend in the tech industry.
The recent NY event featured a private dinner hosted by Goldman Sachs, a philanthropic event held at Charity: Water’s headquarters, and a late night of dancing.
