NY-based Taboola, which powers video recommendation widgets for publishers including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and others, has a secured a Series C funding round of $10 million, bringing their total funding of the five year-old company to $25 million. Founder Adam Singolda told paidContent much of the new funding will be invested into needed infrastructure, given the company’s increasing technological demands.Taboola’s recommendation widgets appear on the pages of more than 300 publishers, recommending related videos or other videos the viewer might like. It claims it have more than 150 million unique users a month across its publisher network, 80 million of them in the U.S.
