About two years after Amazon lauched Kindle for the Web, Barnes & Noble finally brings the Nook to the Web. The new Web edition lets readers browse free samples and whole books entirely from a web browser while preserving the bookmarking and layout options users are accustomed to. Now users can share over Facebook and Twitter without leaving the page. There is still no highlights, so it does not entirely replace the iPad app. Nook for Web is already part of Barnes & Noble’s online store.
