Esquire has created a trailer for its August issue to showcase what the issue has to offer, namely nice cars and action stars. According to Adweek, the company already compiles behind-the-scenes photo shoots for its iPad and web edition, and has released a trailer once before, for a story in the May issue about an exotic zoo animal escape. This time, the company brainstormed a trailer for the whole next issue. Editor in Chief David Granger estimated that 15 videos were created before they got the version they wanted
Granger hopes to continue to make trailers fro its upcoming issues, he told Adweek that, “This happened to be a really rich issue, but we are actively making the effort to do trailers as often as we can, at least until we—or our readers—get sick of them.”
