NY based company, WebCollage is a technology platform that allows retailers to post consistent ad copy on multiple sites. The company is now preparing to launch a new functionality that will let its customers go mobile. WebCollage was founded in Israel 12 years ago, has acheived rapid growth, and is now syndicating ad copy for 700 manufacturers. It’s customers include big names like Sony, Microsoft, Pfizer, and Disney, according to Xconomy. WebCollage’s customers use the company’s software-as-service platform to market 19,000 products.

Currently, ad copy created on the WebCollage platform is ideally viewed on laptops on desktops. However, WebCollage’s new tools will automatically optimize ad copy for any mobile device that a consumer is using. There will be no extra charge for customers for the mobile capabilities addition to the WebCollage platform. The new platform will automatically transform the existing content. The company charges customers based on how many products they sell with the platform and how many sales channels that they want to cover. Their spectrum currently ranges from a customer paying $800 a year, to a larger customer paying over $1 million a year.

One of the ways that WebCollage has attracted so many customers is the platform’s ability to host any sort of content, from plain text to flash. This has helped the company stand out among other competitors that offer specific services, Matthews told Xconomy.
