Aereo Offers New Pricing Plan

After prevailing in a copyright suit brought on by broadcasters in July, NY-based Aereo announced this week a new set of pricing options, including ”Try For Free” and the end of their invitation-only rollout for the live broadcast TV over the Internet. The service, which streams local television to consumers via mobile devices and computers, is currently only available in NY. It carries 28 channels including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and Telemundo, however it does not offer Cable TV. Devices supported as of now are AppleTV, Roku, and Safari on iPad, iPhone, and Macs. Support for PC’s and Android is expected later this summer
