As of 2011, Condé Nast not only publishes magazines but also has a digital media incubator: Interactive Product Group (iPG). The group has developed such apps as Idea Flight and Santa’s Hideout, and now its latest release and first game, Fashion Hazard. The arcade-style game lets players choose a model avatar and then guide her down a 3-D runway rife with coins and mini-challenges. Senior director of iPG, Juliana Stock, told Adweek that the game is meant to be a girly version of such “endless runner” games as Temple Run. Everything for Fashion Hazard was developed in-house and promoted in partnership with the Me Girl app series as well as other relevent Condé websites.
