With a push driven by a recently hired release engineer in Facebook’s NY office, the company will now rollout new code twice a day. The NY-based push, according to release engineer Chuck Rossi, will give much more power to the engineers based in the California office, and will ensure they are able to move and ship much quicker. With the increased number of engineers in the NY office, Facebook is now supporting hundreds more developers and producing 6 times the amount of code per week.
