Microsoft appears to have launched their marketing campaign for the new Surface tablet through street art around NY. The Windows RT-powered tablet does not come out until October 26th, but already a few building walls in NY have been covered with tablet outlines, similar to those used in Microsoft’s unveiling of the Surface back in June.
A similar campaign was used in 2002 for their MSN launch and again in 2010 for the Windows Phone 7 introduction. Microsoft has not commented on whether or not they were involved in the Surface artwork, according to The Verge.
