The NYPD reportedly subpoenaed Twitter today in an attempt to force the site to identify a poster threatening a shooting rampage at the Longacre Theater in Midtown, home to Mike Tyson’s one-man Broadway show. The unnamed tweeter has sent multiple posts discussing a hit list and planned attack, similar to the Batman shooting in Aurora, Colo.

Detectives sent an emergency request to Twitter in an attempt to unmask the tweeter, however, according to the New York Post, Twitter responded saying “this does not appear to fall under those strict parameters as per our policies.” Until the poster is caught, NYPD will cover the theater with heavily armed teams.
