#AOL Quits QLabs While Arment Gets Religion

Rumor has it that AOL Ventures will shut down its think tank QLabs. Sources told the New York Observer that funding for the project had run out. The NYO also reported that NYU journalism professor Clay Shirky likes the advice column Imperfect Advice from Strangers and that Marco Arment, creator of Instapaper, was the recipient of a prank. Someone signed up the outspoken entrepreneur for several Jesus-related email newsletters.
